Gemtech Purchasing Terms

TERMS
GENERAL: No open accounts with the exception of government agencies with an official purchase order. Personal or company checks are accepted for prepaid orders and will not delay order processing. UPS ground shipping is included for suppressors and accessories except Alaska and Hawaii.

PREPAID: Except for government purchase orders, all orders must be paid before delivery. Because BATF is taking only about 2 weeks for transfers, payment must be arranged at the time the order is placed, either by: (1) payment with order, (2) credit card information, or (3) COD.

CREDIT CARDS: We accept VISA and MASTERCARD only. Prices reflect cash discounts. Credit card orders will be subject to a 3% surcharge. Credit card orders will be charged at the time the the BATF transfer is filed.

COD: We will ship C.O.D. (certified funds only) for a $10 service fee in addition to actual UPS charges.

RETURNS and CANCELLATIONS: A 20% restocking charge will be made on orders cancelled after BATF transfer initiation but prior to shipment. There is no re-stocking fee for cancellations prior to filing of the BATF transfer applications. On custom work, the deposit will be forfeited on a time and materials charge.

LEAD & DELIVERY TIME
The majority of the products listed are stock inventory items. If there are to be any delays on delivery, you will be notified.

SHIPPING
Prices of Gemtech manufactured suppressors and accessories include UPS ground shipping to all states except Alaska, Hawaii, and the U.S. Terrirories. We ship UPS Ground, and we can drop ship directly to government agencies. Expedited shipping (UPS 1, 2, or 3 day) is available at extra charge. All shipments of suppressors or other weapons will require an adult signature to comply with federal requirements (Brady Law). Because of UPS/FEDEX policies on handgun shipments, all orders including a handgun will be shipped next day air at appropriate air pricing. Repair, barrel threading, weapon modification will have actual UPS shipping charges added.

QUANTITY DISCOUNTS
Additional discounts are available to clients ordering 10 or more suppressors at the same time. Quantity discounts apply only to suppressors and not to services. Contact us for these special price quotations.

SALES REPRESENTATIVES
We have a number of sales representatives and distributors throughout the United States. Contact us for the one closest to you. Orders may be placed through the representative or directly. Shipments will be made directly to law enforcement agencies or class 3 dealers.

EXPORTATION
Exportation can be arraigned for military and police agencies in NATO and certain Most Favored Nation status countries with a properly executed End User Certificate and government purchase order. We cannot obtain an export license to individual end users.

All sales are final. Gemtech is not responsible if the customer fails to research local regulations, jurisdiction, and availability of Chief Law Enforcement Officer signature. Gemtech assumes no responsibility for defects or inappropriateness of the accessory underlying firearm. Ammunition used with Gemtech suppressors must comply with SAAMI standards, and use of non-SAAMI specification ammunition is done solely at the user's risk.

COMPARISON PRICING ISSUES

It is easy for small-time, garage operation competition to superficially clone a genuine Gemtech product at a lower cost. They do not have the expense of R&D which brings you, the customer, cutting edge technology. They do not have the knowledge or capability to properly specify manufacturing tolerances or correct heat treatment. And most of them won't be around in a couple of years when you need factory support. These are services that are a part of each and every genuine Gemtech product.
