GEMTECH offers a number of specialized mounting variants for our TRL Lanyard.  Each replaces the normal belt loop portion of your existing TRL and is an accessory in addition to a stanard TRL - these mounts do not include the coil or pistol-end of the lanyard.


SPLIT BAR STERNUM ATTACHMENT: The Split Bar Sternum mount variant threads directly into MOLLE webbing, allowing a flush fit that is not as permanent as the Surface Mount. Great for users that clip their TRL high, into web vests and plate carriers.

TACLINK ATTACHMENT: The TACLINK mount variant replaces the TRL belt loop with an ITW carabiner-style end. The simple carabiner attachment is easily clipped to almost anything, and is infrared non-reflective.

SURFACE MOUNT ATTACHMENT: If you want a very low profile attachment directly to the fabric of a belt, vest, or other webgear, the ITW Surface Mount (SR1) variant is a perfect addition to your TRL lanyard. The four prongs of the ITW back plate go through the fabric it is to be mounted to, and then the front of the buckle is installed on the front. It can also be clipped directly into MOLLE webbing in semi-permanent fashion, as shown below. The pistol-end of the TRL clips into this Surface Mount just like the standard TRL belt loop versions.

STANDARD TRL BELT LOOP: If you need a replacement, or prefer to keep multiple belt loop interfaces for your TRL mounted on your webgear, you may order additional TRL belt loops in any color.

For enhanced user-protection, all of these attacment variants feature premium ITW Ghillie-Tex plastic buckles and parts, both for low-IR reflective properties, and so they will not serve as a platform for ricochets or become secondary projectiles. They are made in the USA and are Berry Amendment compliant.
