While our RAPTOR-II offers absolutes in compactness and light weight, the
MK-9K
silencer is held in high regard among collectors for its low, pleasing tone and
soft back-pressure for use with open-bolt subguns, such as the UZI. For sport
shooters who appreciate its recoil-dampening and low blowback, it is a classic,
old-school workhorse 9mm suppressor. It
is engineered to handle high volume fully automatic fire.
The
MK-9K
is available with either an updated 3-lug quick detach mount or with a
traditional 1/2-28 thread mount. The
MK-9K
may be partially disassembled
for cleaning.
The
MK-9K
performs best with subsonic 9mm
ammunition having bullet weights from 147 to 158 grains. As with any muzzle
suppressor, supersonic light bullets, such as the 115 gr Winchester White Box 9mm ammunition,
will result in a supersonic bal;listic crack. We do not reccommend this
ammunition.
